The A5 Art Show - Thank you!

The Anonymous A5 Art Show has come to an end. The show raised an amazing £1310 for the cabin build in Harmony Woods! THANK YOU!

Lasting throughout March 2021, it showcased a range of original pieces created and donated by the ATU creative community on the ATU website and social media pages.

Art show organiser and Andover Trees United intern, Alex, comments: “ This was the first time we have run something like this and I am really pleased with how it turned out - and the reason it turned out so well is that we had generous people such as you who created, donated, shared and purchased artwork!”

The exhibition showcased 51 artists of all ages (the youngest being 6!) and included both professionals and amateurs. 71 artworks were submitted in total to create a really varied and wonderful collection.

Alex continues, “Once built, the cabin will transform the environmental education, communication and conservation work that ATU can offer.” … “We are so pleased that the exhibition has helped to celebrate and showcase the creative talents of our community, and not only Andover artists, but from further afield, too. We had submissions from all over the UK and even one from Romania!”

“Thank you so much to all involved. And to those who purchased work, not only have you contributed to the cabin project and all that the cabin will bring, but you have made an artist feel worthwhile, too.”

Andover Trees United plan to do keep the creative ball rolling and hope to host something similar in the future, perhaps an in-real-life art exhibition in the new cabin space?! :)
