Nature Explorers May Half Term

As the weather flitted between torrential rain, scorching sun and gusting wind, the valiant nature explorers appeared! Our younger explorers delved into the world of Superworm, hunting for insects, digging for worms, escaping the giant spiderweb, leaf printing and clay galore - they have been very busy! Our older explorers put their young scientist heads on and looked into the difference between life in the woods, life in the pond and life in the long grasses. Some beautiful inhabitants were discovered in all three areas. It seemed only right that we should dedicate a whole day to wildflowers, as they are simply stunning at the woods at the moment. All of the explorers loved their time amongst the ox-eye daisies and beautiful artwork was created celebrating all the glorious flowers.
