Big Green Week

Big Green Week was really celebrated at Harmony Woods. On a beautiful day, Roots and Shoots schools; Clatford CofE primary and Knights Enham Juniors joined us to discuss how they were working together to make their schools and their own lives more sustainable. It was a privelage to not only hear all the fabulous things they are achieving, but the awareness that these young people have about the planet today. They were an inspiration; brainstorming ideas with each other and working as one to complete a nature scavenger hunt of the site and to undertake a thorough litter pick.

We were also delighted to hear from Harrow Way’s eco group. They also undertook some fabulous brainstorming, discussing all the ways that they could swap what they are doing now, with a green alternative. Excellent work all! I hope that we will see some of these amazing students from Clatford, Knights Enham and Harrow Way at our Plant for the Planet experience later in the year.
