With Christmas just a month away you may be considering gifts?! Well if you are looking to shop locally and would like to support local creatives then take a look at Test Valley Tales. This beautifully illustrated book has 10 short stories featuring the local landscape through its folk tales and legends.

Harmony Woods is the location for the story of 'The Feuding Farmers of Harmony Woods'.

The book is written by local story-teller, Amanda Kane Smith and illustrated by local artists Maija Liepins and Susan Merrick.

The book is accompanied by the Test Valley Tales podcast. This is a free resource which makes the stories accessible to everyone. Each episode features one of the stories, told by Amanda with original music by local folk musician Paul Sartin, as well as an interview afterwards about the story, story location or one of the story themes.
