Crafty Saturday: Lantern-Making at Andover Trees United

 

Get Creative at October’s Community Craft Event! Join us for a magical morning or afternoon of creativity as Andover Trees United (ATU) hosts its latest Crafty Saturday—this time with a focus on Lantern Making!

Andover Trees United (ATU) is excited to invite the community to this month's Crafty Saturday on October 26th, where you'll have the opportunity to create your very own lantern. Led by experienced ATU members, this fun and inspiring session is perfect for individuals and families alike!

Craft your lantern during one of two sessions at The Cabin at Harmony Woods, and not only will you have a beautiful handmade decoration to take home, but you'll also be ready to participate in a special Lantern Procession happening on the evening of November 14th! This enchanting event will see the local community come together at Harmony Woods for a magical evening walk, lighting up the woods with their creations. Mulled wine and refreshments will be served by the fire.

Here’s all you need to know about the workshop:

  • When: October 26th

    • Morning Session: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

    • Afternoon Session: 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

  • Where: The Cabin at Harmony Woods

  • What: Make a lantern to brighten up your home, guided by expert crafters from the ATU team

  • Cost:

    • Adults: £12 per session (includes a free child ticket)

    • Family Ticket: £20 per session (up to 2 adults & 4 children)

Spaces are limited to just 12 people per session, so be sure to reserve your spot early!
