#TheBig12HourLivestream

Dmitrijs Meiksans MYP, one of our core volunteers and youth advisor to our board of trustees, will be hosting a 12-hour livestream in aid of the local youth organisations and charities that are most important to him. We are very excited to be one of them!

The live stream will run on Saturday 20th June from 8am - 8pm, and Dmitrijs has several special guests already booked in to be a part of the event.

He aims to raise £1000 through his GoFundMe page. Where he writes: ”I am raising money for the charities and youth organisations important to me and my constituents. The money raised will be shared between the British Youth Council, Unity, Andover Trees United and the Hampshire Youth Parliament. The funding will be given to bring together young people in their local communities and/or supporting them during these turbulent times. My youth organisation DMK Worldwide will be supporting this livestream as well as receiving a small amount of the money made.

I am raising money for youth organisations and charities to help them sustain through this terrible crisis and continue the work they already do. We need organisations and charities like these to keep our communities linked and together.

Any donation of any amount will be greatly appreciated as we want to donate to charities and young organisations that matter.”

Speaking about Andover Trees specifically, Dmitrijs said “I wanted to give back to some of the charities and youth organisations that I am a part of and ATU went straight to my head. ATU has been on the doorstep of the community for a decade and has involved so many people within every event. Do consider donating!”

The live stream will take place on YouTube here .

We are very excited to be a part of his project and are incredibly grateful for his continued support for the local community. Please share and donate if you can.
