James Aldridge
James Aldridge is a visual artist working with people and places. Based in Wiltshire, James is an Associate Artist with CAS (Chapel Arts Studios) in Andover, MK Gallery (Milton Keynes), and a member of Climate Museum UK.
James is lead artist on Ash Tree Stream, a sister project to One Ash, using art to engage Andover people in an exploration of the place of Ash trees within the town’s natural and cultural heritage.
For One Ash James will be documenting the journey that a section of the tree takes, as he interacts with it and uses it to spark conversations around Ash trees, climate breakdown and biodiversity loss, within a range of different settings and communities.
