George Shapland

George Shapland is a Wiltshire based artist and wood turner. Although he specialises in segmented designs using both domestic and exotic hardwoods (from FSC* approved sources) he loves working with any wood.

His plan for the One Ash project is to turn two bowls, one immediately from the green wood and a second bowl once the wood has seasoned to show how wood moves as it dries.
