I'm a Fine Artist painter who has recently been exploring constructed/sculptural forms made from hardwood, I work to a large scale and artworks can be a bit minimalist or use lots of repeating patterns made with individual pieces, woodworking is quite new to me! I'm thinking to make some large steam bent 'hoop' like forms with a simple colour element to each, the hoops might balance and lean upon each other in a floor-standing structure a bit like the simple sketch shown here, but who knows? When not teaching Art & Design at a further Education college in London, I'll be working away in my art studio in Bexhill On Sea in East Sussex.
