Get involved with Andover Trees United’s new monthly art competition!
See what others have sent in here.
Each month we encourage everyone to get out and explore his or her local wildlife, focusing on a different theme on a monthly basis. This month-BEES! To celebrate World Bee Day on 20th May.
Noticing and appreciating nature is even more fun when you involve art, so a drawing or painting of our local habitats is the best way to do this.
Each month we will have four winners, one social entry chosen at random, one chosen by the volunteers, one chosen by a special guest and one picked at random from every school entry!
We hope that this can be a fun and educational experience and can help our local children learn to respect and admire all of the wildlife local to them.
There will be a small prize for the school child winner each month and all entries will be featured on our website and may even be included in our new signage at Harmony Woods!
This month’s competition runs until 31st May, and winners will be announced 1 week later, giving each entry a fair amount of time.
Don’t worry, your creations won’t be judged for artistic talent, and the competition is open to absolutely everybody - so don’t hesitate to get involved!
Please send all entries to volunteers@andovertrees.org.uk along with your name and school, and we will contact you back if you have won!
Good luck!
