Key tasks:
Flint picking in readiness for grass cutting - check across meadow, full width of rides and all areas due to be cut - once collected, leave securely inside heras fencing
General tasks - making site safe and welcoming for Friday’s Peace Day procession and checking equipment for wildflower planting on Saturday
trowels - count
gloves - make sure all gloves are in correct trays - find ‘random’ bags and tubs of gloves and add back to their ‘parent’ tray - check through bag of ‘odds’ and make up any pairs (bag of odds is on gazebo end of glove shelf)
buckets: find all those with holes and separate into 2 piles - 1 for water carrying and 1 for planting
tidy green sticks (in bucket): bundle into different colours of flags and separate all those that have NO flags. Find coloured sticky tape (shelf behind gazebos?) and make up lots of yellow and white ‘flags’ - if no coloured tape, use red/ white hazard tape (there should be a reel of sticky as well as regular) - the sticks will be used to MARK where flowers are planted on Saturday
Anything else obvious, especially refreshments in readiness for Friday
