Call for artists, crafters, makers and wood users…

Are you an artist, crafter, maker, end-user of wood?

  • We would love to work with you on an exciting new project (see image on the right) all about Ash trees, Andover's heritage and sustainable forestry.

  • Examples of wood end-users could be (but is not limited to): crafters, artists, log and charcoal makers, food smokeries, carpenters, toolmakers, furniture makers, sculptors, e.t.c.

  • We would like to give you a piece of our Ash tree and in return we would like you to allow us and our partner schools to follow and learn from your work, leading to an exhibition and celebration event.

  • Interested? Click on the ‘Project Overview’ button below for more details.

  • Register your interest by completing our project form here.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Craft Workshops

We host regular green craft sessions. These are informal social events where we can learn new skills and make new friends. In the past our sessions have included: lantern making, wreath making, willow weaving, whittling, label sculpting and natural dyeing.

WHEN?
Workshops run once a month on the 4th Saturday. Keep checking our Events page or our Facebook page for upcoming sessions.

WHERE?
Workshops take place in various locations: Harmony Woods, venues in Andover town or even in our own homes.

LEADING A WORKSHOP
In order to maximise the potential that Andover Trees United has to offer we seek to build the volunteering numbers, including those who are interested in helping to run our craft sessions.

If you would like to find out more or arrange to come and join a workday session or craft session, please contact us here. Thank you.
