Not all the trees we source each year are used and we have traditionally found spaces for them in our gardens and borrowed spaces between planting seasons. We were therefore delighted to have permission from Andover Town Council to rent a plot on Vigo Road which we run as a community allotment.

Thanks to Tesco Bags of Help funding we have been able to set up the allotment with a polytunnel and all-weather working space, sheds and tools, paths and planting beds. This year we have added the adjoining plot on which we will grow fruit and veg and flowers for natural dyeing; next year we will be growing wildflowers from seed.

It is a work in progress and if you would like to join us we currently meet on a Monday from 10.00 - 1.00. All newcomers are welcomed and if you would like to use the space to grow your own food we are working on a way to set this up. Contact us here.
