Cabin update December 2022
The cabin is looking more like a cabin! Cladding is going up on the outside, and most of it should be finished by the end of this week. All the doors - including glass bi-fold doors to lead out onto the veranda - are being made, ready to go on before Christmas. The rest of the materials should arrive by the end of this week. And there is a plan for drawbridge-like shutters to secure the building, which will extend as decking when the cabin is open.
We have received an incredible amount of support from Jewson Andover so we extend a huge thank you to them. And to Carpentry students at Andover College, who are helping to mill the floorboards.
